We have some sad news: Raman passed away this past Saturday morning, June 23. He seemed normal on Friday and appeared to be in good health for a twenty-year-old. He most likely had a heart attack or a stroke, which is not uncommon for an ox of such an advanced age. He was born on the New Raman Reti farm on May 7, 1992, the offspring of Radharani, the Geursney cow, and Dharma, the Brahman bull. He was majestic to look at, but sometimes unruly to deal with. He lived out his last days peacefully with his bovine buddies, Radhastami and Krishna-Kripa, spending most of his time in the back pasture of the farm.
