Save the Cow, which is part of ISKCON of Alachua, has been caring for Krsihna’s cows for over twenty years. It is run by a small, but dedicated, all-volunteer staff who receive no financial compensation for their service. Financial reports for 2009 and 2010 are posted on the website. Between 90-95% of funds received go directly to the care of cows and the upkeep of the pastures. The remaining 5-10% is spent on administration on such expenses as bank charges, postage, and office supplies.
